The Town's park in the middle of the island, a waterway park on the sound, Town fitness classes, fishing charters and paddle rentals, plus mini golf.
Parks, the Community Center & classes
Run by the Town of Ocean Isle Beach. Town Center Park and the Community Center sit a block apart, just east of the bridge.
Town Center Park
The Town's park with the amphitheater for the summer concerts, a water feature and two picnic shelters.
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 10 PM in summer, 7:30 AM to 9 PM off-season.
- Picnic shelters: $50 per 4-hour slot, booked by an adult 18 or older.
- Parking: free up to 2 hours for park use.
- No alcohol, glass, smoking or vaping, grills or fireworks, bikes or skateboards. Dogs on a leash.
Town fitness classes
Listed on the Town calendar.
- Beach Barre: Thursdays, 9:00 to 9:45 AM, $10, all ages. The Town lists it from April 16 into November (end date to be set).
- Sculpt & Flow: Tuesdays, 8:00 to 8:45 AM, $15 (last listed Sept 29).
Community Center
Public restrooms, open 9 AM until sunset, weather permitting. It's also where you pick up the Town's free beach wheelchairs. The Monroe St. beach access is next door.
Ferry Landing Park
The Town's waterway park. The Town says it reopened with its pier open at the end of 2024. Parking is free, with no time limit, for park use. The Town map marks its waterway access as handicap accessible.
Museum of Coastal Carolina
Next to Town Center Park. The Town's visitor page points visitors to it. Check the museum's own site for hours and tickets.

Inshore trips in the creeks and the waterway, and offshore trips for bigger fish. No surfing within 1000 feet of the pier.
